Crappie USA Tournament Results for the Region 3 Regional on East Fork Lake, Ohio in Clermont County
This past Friday and Saturday, June 6th & 7th Crappie USA held the Region 3 Regional Event on East Fork Lake in Clermont County Ohio. These anglers were competing for not only cash and prizes, but a chance to advance to the prestigious Cabela's Crappie USA Classic to be held on Indiana's Patoka Lake October 8-11th. These anglers from 10 different states were greeted on Thursday night with a banquet along with major rains which put a damper on the fishing at East Fork Lake. "We had heavy rains in the area which forced the lake to rise 7 feet and muddy up on Wednesday night, then cresting Thursday afternoon. To make matters worse, on Friday and Saturday the lake was being pulled down 2 feet per day, said Tournament Director Larry Stephens.

Crappie USA Inc., "America's Premier National Crappie Fishing Tournament Organization" will hold a $10,000.00 guaranteed payback super event on Table Rock Lake April 26, 2008. Anglers will be fishing for a 7-fish limit of crappie, along with the opportunity to advance to the regional event and the Cabela's Crappie USA Classic, the most prestigious event in crappie fishing today. This year's classic will be held on Patoka Lake in Southern Indiana.
