The team fished the lower end to Stanley Bridge in 14 – 18 feet of water, using green chartreuse jigs to suspend fish over cover. Harold and Ferrill landed 14 fish for the day, stating that the fish quit biting when the current had picked up from turbines.

In third place were Maurice Gregory of Calvera, Alabama and Aaron Night of Montgomery, Alabama weighing in at 11.43 pounds and earning $700.00. The team fished all over the lake, targeting docks, especially in deeper water. Maurice and Aaron were shooting for the docks using green or Monkey Milk colored jigs in various depths to catch over 30 fish for the day.

Richard Malcolm of Covington, Georgia and Joe Partenza of Monticello, Georgia took fourth place with a total weight of 11.30 pounds and earned a check for $500.00. The team fished the docks from Poorhouse Creek to the dam, targeting docks with chartreuse jigs to land a whopping 50 fish for the day.

In fifth place was Fred Walker of Lizella, Georgia and Danny Sisson of Rural Hall, South Carolina weighing in at 10.46 pounds. The team left before interviews, most likely to keep their fishing secrets safe.
