Basic Panfried Fish


Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds fish fillets
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup flour or cornmeal
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions:

Cut fillets into desired serving sizes. Salt and pepper fillets per your preference. Dip fillets in egg and then roll in flour or cornmeal. Fry fillets in approximately 1/4" of vegetable oil in medium sized skillet. Allow each side to fry for approzimately 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from pan and place on paper towels or other absorbant material to help remove oil. Let cool to serving temperature and enjoy.
