Beer Battered Fried Fish


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup cornflake crumbs or cornmeal
  • 1 can of your favorite beer
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tb garlic salt
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tb lemon peper

Instructions:

Mix all ingredients (except for beer and cornflakes or cornmeal) in a large bowl. Add beer until the batter is thin, yet not watery. Dip dry fish in batter and roll in cornflakes or cornmeal. Fry fish in medium sized skillet until golden brown. Use a small amount of vegetable oil in skillet to prevent sticking.
