Spicy Crappie Fish Taco's


Ingredients:

  • 10 boneless Crappie Filets
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • Oil for frying

Mix meal with salt and pepper,dredge filets in meal,fry in hot oil about 6-7 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Sauce:

  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 chilpote peppers (canned)
  • Juice from 1/2 lime
  • 1/2 teas. salt
  • 1/2 teas. pepper

Process in food processor until well blended,about 1 minute.

10 corn tortillas.Heated in hot skillet until soft.(30-45 seconds) Shredded Napa cabbage, or any cabbage.

Place one filet in each tortilla, top with sauce and shredded cabbage.
